Friday 22nd January

Well done for completing another week of Online Learning.  If you have found some of your class work tricky, try some of these activities.

If you want to ask me a question or show me some of the work that you have done, then you can contact me on Class Dojo or email me on cpark@bunscoilris.ie

English:

Read your book for 15 minutes. You could read with someone, taking it in turns to read a page each.  📕

Here are some nouns. They describe a person, place, thing or feeling . Put them in a sentence  and use correct punctuation. Try and add in an adjective. to help  describe the noun.

    table/field/school/fire/dog/football

e.g. The wooden table was  in the kitchen.

If you could go anywhere this weekend, where would you go?

Imagine you were told you could go anywhere in the world, this weekend..  Write a paragraph describing what it was like and how you felt when you got there. Try and describe it.

It can be easier for the reader to imagine  if you add in how you feel /what you can see/hear/ smell.

Numeracy:

Play Hit the Button. Try and get to get your highest score on your  5 times tables.

Find all the numbers in the 3 times table.

2,  5,  12,  18,  22, 25,  27,  30,  31,  36

Spend 15 minutes on Mathletics on an activity of your choice.

Try to get some exercise today. Get outside, if you can.  A walk, a bike ride or keepy uppies with a ball.  If you can’t get outside, you could see how many star jumps you could do in 30 seconds.

Don’t forget to let me see any work that you have done.

I will be in touch again next week.
