You may have noticed that the endings are slightly different on these verbs, that is because they belong to the 2nd declension of verbs, which just means group. We did the irregular verbs first, then the 1st group of regular verbs(meaning they have the same endings) and this is the 2nd group of regular verbs(which will all have the same endings too)

Wednesday 6th May
Good morning everyone. As you are aware, following an Taoiseach’s address on Friday, we know now that our school will not reopen until September. This is sad news for us all. To my 6th class, I’m sure you are as sad as I am to hear we won’t be back. I am very disappointed. We had so many plans for your last term. However I will continue to be in contact via the website, emails and class dojo. We can still keep some of our plans ‘on ice’ so to speak, until the day comes that we can come together again. I’ll be looking for ideas from ye over the coming weeks so do put your thinking caps on. Amidst all this disappointment the most important thing is that everyone stays at home and stays safe. It hard being away from family and friends but this will pass. Be patient and stay positive.
So we must continue as we are and so I encourage you all to do your best and do what you can. Don’t hesitate to contact me and I will be trying to ring a few of ye that I didn’t catch first time round. The usual reminders – The School Hub at 11, Cúla 4 ar Scoil at 10 on TG4 and have a look at Ms.Ryans Art competition again. Thursday 30th of April
Good morning to all my class on today the last day of April! Yes tomorrow is technically the start of Summer. I know at the moment it doesn’t really feel like that. Maybe we’re all feeling a little bit flat about everything but our day will come, YOUR day will come!!. We will celebrate, we will meet and life will return to normal. but actually a better normal. So its a bank holiday this weekend which means no work on Monday. Surely a bonus eh? So please keep strong and stay safe. Ruby and Robbie Kehoe have started a fundraiser in aid of the New Ross community Hospital. Each person that donates will receive a piece of artwork. Please check out the ‘gofundme’ link at the end of today’s post. Just the usual reminders- Urban Rascal today at 1.30, Cúla4 ar scoil at 10 and the School Hub at 11. Let me know how ye are getting on with the online magazines and also don’t forget to check out the activities on Splash Maths. Try and send a picture of at least one piece of work a day( if you can). Also let me know what you thought of the youtube clip on Surrealism and our little Lobster friend. So here is today’s work and remember do what you can.

- Consider how if you could change this ending, how you would change it? Explain your answer.
- Produce a piece of art based on any scene in the story.
- Sketch any character from the story.
- Imagine you are Bruno’s father. Write about any regrets you might have at the end of the story.
- Imagine you are a news reporter during World War 2.Write a newspaper article about events at Auschwitz.
- Write a poem about the book or any scene from it. Now the choice is yours!!!

Good morning all.Welcome to a new week and I hope you all had a good weekend and that you and your families are well. We didn’t have the Confirmation but we will make up for it. I know this whole situation is dragging on and like everybody else you are sick of it. I certainly am. However we are beating this virus and things WILL get better. I spoke with some of ye and your parents last week, I couldn’t get through to some people but I will try to make contact this week. Its just to say hello and to see how you are getting on. With regards the work, please do what you can. If I’ve chosen a topic, feel free to take your own angle on it. Say for example we are still doing the Solar system in Geography this week, you can design a rocket, create an alien, build a space station etc. I want ye to feel free to make your own interpretation of the work, if there is something that interests you. Ye are 6th class so do use your own initiative. So the usual reminders – Cúla 4 ar Scoil at 10 and the School Hub at 11 till 12 . Each and everyone has helped to do this. I REALLY miss our classroom and the excitement and madness that abounded. But we still have to continue the way we are for a bit yet. Please contact me as much as you want, send pictures of your work/tasks and if you would prefer not to have them put up on class dojo, that’s fine, just say so. Also this work is a guide, get as much done as YOU can. So here we go for today’s work. Enjoy and try your best.

Friday 3rd April
Hello everyone and welcome to the last day of your work before the Easter holidays. Of course these holidays will not be like previous years but I think after the last 3 weeks we could all do with a break. That way we’ll all be refreshed for Monday the 20th April. While there is a break in the structured school work I would urge ye all to get out into the fresh air, read, log onto Urban Rascals, watch the School Hub, draw, write, do something that you love doing and use some of the websites during the hols. It is still important to do the social distancing and washing hands because this is is the really crucial time. So have a nice holiday, keep safe and I wish you all the very best. If there are things that you didn’t get done, any of the tasks, feel free to work away and please, please, please send me pictures!!! I will be in contact to remind you about Urban Rascals and the School Hub and such over the hols.
